Browsing Plates

Introduction

Hunting for the perfect plate is a different experience from looking for a car. The search is number-centric and precise.

Core Terminology

TermMeaning
Exact MatchThe search returns only the exact number you type — searching "123" will not surface "12345."
Digits FilterNarrows results by digit count (1-digit through 5-digit).
Emirate FilterLimits results to plates registered in a specific Emirate (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, etc.).

Search by Number

The rule: Exact Match only

You cannot search for part of a number.

  • Correct: Searching "12345" finds the standard plate 12345.
  • Incorrect: Searching "123" will NOT return 12345. It only looks for the prestigious 3-digit plate "123."

Note: Searching by "Code" (letter prefix) is not supported. Type the number itself, then narrow results by Emirate or Code in the filters.

Filtering Options

Once you search or browse, you can refine by:

  1. Emirate: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, etc.
  2. Digits: 1-digit (Ultra VIP) through 5-digit.
  3. Price range: Set your budget ceiling.

Note: There are no "Featured" or "Trusted" badges for plates. All listings are treated equally in the default sort order unless the seller has paid for promotion.
